Are you allowed to drive on all the roads with your golf cart?
Yes on all public paved roads. No off-roading or unpaved roads.
Can you drive around the whole island in one day?
Yes. North loop ≈ 2.5 hours; south loop ≈ 1.5 hours (non-stop).
Can you enter the national park with a golf cart?
No. Golf carts aren’t allowed in Washington Slagbaai National Park. You’ll need a pickup truck (preferably 4×4).
Do you have any 4-seaters?
No, only 2-seaters.
How many persons does a golf cart fit?
Max 2 persons. either 2 adults, or 1 adult and 1 minor.
Is it easy to park with a golf cart?
You can park along the roadside, there are no fees. Just don’t block driveways or park in corners. Parking is at your own risk. Going to the town center? Please leave the golf cart at the rental it’s only a 2-minute walk.
What should I do in case of a breakdown?
Call the support number on your rental paperwork (and on the cart). We’ll come to your location to repair or swap the cart. If possible, pull over safely and share your exact location/landmark.
Rental Questions
Can I pay with an American Express card on Bonaire?
No, most places on the island don’t accept American Express. It’s best to bring a VISA, Mastercard, or Discover card instead. Cash (U.S. dollars) is also our main currency.
Do you need an international driver’s license to drive a golf cart?
No, a valid driver’s license from your home country is sufficient.
How far is Bonaire Cruisers from the cruise terminal?
About a 5-minute walk. Look for the row of vendor tents by the terminal we’re in the last tent.
What are your operating hours on cruise ship days?
We open at 6:30 AM (Local time) . Standard return is by 5:00 PM; if your ship arrives after 12:00 PM, please return by 6:00 PM.
What is your cancellation policy?
Full refund if canceled 48 hours in advance or if your cruise ship doesn’t dock.
Fuel & Insurance
Are child seats available?
Yes. We offer child seats with the golf cart at pickup.
Do I need to pay a nature fee to snorkel on Bonaire?
No, the nature fee doesn’t apply to cruise passengers.
Is gasoline included in the price?
Yes for regular and deluxe golf carts; no for premium carts.
Is insurance included in the price?
Yes. Insurance is included and covers accidental/unintended damage. It does not cover negligence, reckless driving, or driving under the influence.
Is one full tank of gas enough for the whole day?
Yes. Regular and Deluxe carts can circle the island about 3 times on one tank; Premium carts easily cover both loops in a day.
What should I bring with me?
Sunscreen, snorkel gear, hat, sunglasses, water, and offline maps (Google Maps or Maps.me)—and a good vibe.
Which currency is used on Bonaire?
U.S. dollar (USD).
Can I bring a walker or mobility scooter with me?
Yes. If you use a walker, it can be securely attached to the back of the golf cart using the straps that are already fitted to the vehicle. If you have a mobility scooter, you are welcome to park it free of charge in our garage during your rental.
